Who or what is your musical inspiration?
There's many, but essentially, Dave Matthews, Chris Robinson and Leonard Cohen are a huge influence as a songwriter. Musically? Marvin Gaye, Sly and The Family Stone, Van Morrison and Howlin Wolf. But my biggest inspiration is by far my Stella.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
We've performed at some well established Blues and Music Festivals to date. But nothing in comparison to the Global Citizen Festival in reach and recognition. To perform at the GCF would be very impactful in a huge positive way for us. It's a tremendous honor.
What would you do with $50,000?
Get a new touring Suburban to start. Also use it for future studio work, plus this and that.
