Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from growing up feeling different—in a beautiful, complicated way. I’m adopted, raised by two amazing gay dads, and music became the place where I felt fully seen. Artists who spoke their truth, who didn’t fit the mold—they gave me courage. My inspiration is anyone who turns their story into sound, because that’s what I try to do: take all the love, struggle, and uniqueness, and make people feel a little less alone.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a dream—it’s more than a stage, it’s a statement. It would let me share my music with a global audience while standing for something bigger than myself. As an artist, it’s about connection and purpose, and this platform would amplify both. It could open doors, sure—but more importantly, it would show that music can inspire change, and I’d be honored to be a part of that.
What would you do with $50,000?
If I had $50,000, I’d invest in my music—better gear, studio time, and releasing songs independently. I’ve been doing everything DIY, and this would help bring my vision to life the right way. I’d also use it to ease some financial stress—pay rent, clear debt, and support those who’ve been there since day one. It’s not about luxury—it’s about freedom to create, grow, and share something real with the world.
