Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We're inspired by a wide range of influences from our collective working experience in the opera, classical, and jazz worlds. We are notably drawn to diverse artists such as Blackbriar, Cellar Darling, Chelsea Wolfe, Within Temptation, Eivor, Wayfarer, and Dream Theater, orchestral composers Mahler, Bernard Herrmann, and Bear McCreary, and Moira has a soft spot for the mystic Hildegard von Bingen.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
As a band that has members in different states more than 1400 miles apart from each other, it's becoming even more financially difficult to get together for live shows to support our albums and music videos. The opportunity to perform for a larger and diverse audience, such as that at the Global Citizen Festival, would help us become more attractive to a booking agent or a manager.
What would you do with $50,000?
Invest half in our next album's production, distribution, and marketing, and invest the other half in either management or travel costs to play more shows.
