Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from the city of Chicago. Bringing light to artists like Kanye West, John Legend, & Lupe Fiasco. There’s always something new and fresh coming out of the city and it’s what makes it one of the best cities in the world.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would hugely impact my career because it would put my music and talent in front of tens of thousands of people and would essentially kickstart my music career. It would make me turn to rapping and singing as opposed to strictly production work. With the right tools and people, I can turn Oscar Rose into a hallmark name in the music industry.
What would you do with $50,000?
The first thing I would do with $50,000 is share it with the people that are responsible for getting me where I am, my Mom and Dad. I’d make sure they’re living more than comfortable. Then I would use the rest to help kickstart my career, ranging from paying for management/marketing to buying music equipment like a microphone or audio interface.
