Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My dad is my biggest musical inspiration. He was a gospel singer during the Golden Era of gospel music (1950’s-60’s). He was celebrated for his 1959 gospel hit “Kings of Kings”. He was a great performer, and served as a huge inspiration for me and my brothers.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be a quantum shot forward to my career!!! Although I have experienced a modicum of success touring many European countries this opportunity would give us the exposure that we have longed for!
What would you do with $50,000?
Honestly, I would use the money to help us start our arts infused boarding high school for inner-city, high risk youth.
