Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’m super inspired by artist that don’t stop no matter the obstacles, the doubts, knowing that they’re different but believing in themselves, believing in their style/message and using anything that’s against them as fuel. Freddy Mercury is one of my favorites.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This can be a huge break for me. My main goal here is to represent women DJs in more big stages as we’re not that many, and being a Latina also puts me in a very small bracket. By performing at the Global Citizen Festival I’m hoping to have more visibility and keep the momentum going. I want to bring my sound to as many places as I can.
What would you do with $50,000?
Buy more gear, help wherever I can, take my music to different places, learn, spread the wealth.
