Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Inspiration comes from everywhere and anywhere! It's kind of like a gift that just shows up when you least expect it. Of course I'm always inspired by a beautiful piece of music, a great movie, or an act of kindness. Anything that touches me can inspire me!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would give me an opportunity to reach a wider audience to make more people happy with my music! With a bigger audience I can do more good in the world with my music.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use some of it to set up a foundation to help under privileged kids be able to attend college, and realize their dreams. College has become unaffordable to many, and education is the key to moving forward! I'm currently on the Board of F2F in Houston- we raise money to get instruments for kids that can't afford them. The look on their face when they are presented with their instrument! I want to do more, and this would help me do that.
