I curate the feeling/emotion of every song I write and then I perform the hell out of.

Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Being from Michigan by way of Mississippi my musical inspiration is the Motown sound, gospel quartet, pop, and television. Think Isley Brothers, Chaka Khan, and Marvin Gaye all the way. I’m all soul! Pop soul, rock soul, jazz soul, and more.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
An opportunity of a lifetime to bring intentional music to a world stage. Music created to penetrate the hearts and minds of a generation. It would be an honor to share energy at that capacity.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would create a state of the community studio called the sound sanctuary for my community to come and create with industry quality for free or very low cost. It’s the artist job to create and often times money is such a huge barrier to that for us.
