When people hear my music, I want them to know they aren’t alone in their experiences. I want my music to give clarity and refuge to people.

Who or what is your musical inspiration?
It differs from lyricism to musicality with different musicians, but Lizzy McAlpine’s lyricism and poetry as a woman who feels broken in love is something I’ve always related too. Jeff Buckley’s ‘tortured artist’ as a performer and songwriter has always inspired me to lead with my emotions and follow what comes out of my heart when I write such personal and intimate songs.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would completely change my life. Having so many people hear my music is a dream within itself. I would use the exposure as best as I could to help improve my music. Performing to such a big crowd would help me be a better performer and singer and I will be the musician I know I can be. This push will help me show myself and let people know they aren’t alone in how they feel when dealing with complex relationships, love, and heartbreak.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’d put the money towards working on a studio album which has always been my dream and finding a recording studio. I’d use the money to help with promotion for the album as best as i can. I’d pay for venues so I can perform. I’d pay other artists to be on my album. Anything to make my album and future career as best as it can be.
