Who will perform at the Global Citizen Festival, appear in Rolling Stone, and take home $50,000?
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I take inspiration from Paganini, Bach, The Prodigy, Noisia, Amon Tobin, Vanessa Mae, Wu Tang, the Cunning Linguists, and the electric quartet Bond. I love a variety of music, and I love the way many of these groups demand the attention of the audience, creating an inspirational concert going experience that accompanies their musical prowess.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
As an independent artist, I have struggled to play every role in the creation process. Having the help of such a massive platform with an enormous community could help me to meet like minded musicians, which would allow me to work with a broad range of talent. This would be a fantastic learning experience, and would provide greatly needed exposure that I have struggled with creating on my own.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would pay off my debt, save some, invest in building my music studio and marketing materials for myself, get a new electric violin, and self fund a tour to my favorite cities (it’s more manageable since I’m a one person team).
