Miriam Makeba, Brenda Fassie, Dorothy Masuka, Enya, Lauryn Hill. My biggest influence is my culture… I love the richness and how music is daily part of any activity that one can easily take for granted its role.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would be a dream to share my many cultural influences with the world!
What would you do with $50,000?
Wow! Would reinvest it into my music via re- branding and marketing and record a seminal project and promote it. Part of the proceeds would also go to support the livelihoods of the amazing musicians I work with as well as donate to 2 local nonprofit organizations I already work with.
