Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical inspirations are mainly Nirvana, Green Day and Foo Fighters but also include bands like Mammoth, Pixies, and Adolescents. Our singer James Garcia mainly grew up on punk and grunge music while our lead guitarist Rikki Robin grew up on 80s metal. Music has been a part of our lives since we were very young and has been a key factor to surviving the world we live in today, we want to make art that people will love.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would get us out of our home towns, right now were a very small band with a couple hundred followers. But i believe people see us at that show and we’ll be in the thousands with people sharing and streaming our music. Weve always just wanted the world to hear our music and how much work and passion we put into it.
What would you do with $50,000?
James mom is sick. Wed use a good chunk of that to help her and whatever else were able to use from it wed pay bills and repay debts and get to live. Whatever money we have left over wed print out cds and try to get them out there for more and more people to hear and record our next album.
