Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration came from child hood. I used writing and recording songs as a journal, and I still do. Every song I've ever pushed to streaming services came from raw or abstract emotion. It was and is a way that I can cope with some of the things I've dealt with, am dealing with, or could deal with.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would open so many closed doors. It would allow me to follow a dream I was told is not possible, and make a career out of it. I'd be able to stop worrying that I've missed my shots and my time has gone. Being able to perform the Global Citizen Festival would ultimately change my life.
What would you do with $50,000?
Firstly, I would like to clear any and all of my debts. Secondly I would upgrade my recording software to a better one than GarageBand. I'd like to make myself a cost friendly in home studio to continue writing and recording songs. Then I would invest a portion for my future and next of kin. Then the remaining I would donate to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
