Project Honda is a movement to protect youth and empower creators through power of story telling
Thank you for generously supporting Project Honda in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to empower Global Citizen in their mission to eradicate extreme poverty and create a world where everyone has an equal chance to thrive.
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We’re inspired by resistance movements, soulful fusion, and sonic architecture that sparks social change. From Fela Kuti to Nujabes, we channel music as a cultural weapon—melding jazz, funk, and Japanese minimalism to challenge the systems shaping our digital lives.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would amplify our mission: using music to protect the next generation from toxic digital environments. Performing at Global Citizen means turning our advocacy into a movement—reaching allies across borders and converting awareness into legislation, starting with Japan.
What would you do with $50,000?
We’d launch “Sound the Signal”—a global youth campaign combining pop-up performances, media literacy workshops. The funds would help us build community-powered platforms that fight exploitative online advertising targeting kids.
