Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I can remember a story my father tells all the time about me in my mother’s womb. He had an electric keyboard and a pretty good sound system in the mid 90s and he would get home from work sometimes and play the keyboard or music and I would move inside the womb. I don’t have a clear example of my inspiration as there are many names I could say but music has driven me differently since inception. I would like to believe it’s in my blood.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I know if my music is seen by the right people I can make the right relationships through networking. I know there will be plenty fans but I am more concerned about how to stay consistent musically while continuing to build a base organically.
What would you do with $50,000?
Keep investing in my music career because it has been proving to take me far. The only thing stopping a lot of independent artists from breaking the door down is money.
