Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Queen Jayne has been inspired by many musicians, from artists like Guns n' Roses and Aerosmith, to Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, to modern rock/metal like Avenged Sevenfold. However, our sound originated based on what we knew and felt in order to express ourselves. Queen Jayne's style could be best described as an old-school, soulful, explosive energy captured by rockn'roll attitude in a band of misfits with a dream.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would impact it immensely. All 4 of us come from small beginnings with the same dream - to express ourselves through our instruments and reach as many people as possible. This would give us the kickoff we need after just recording an album in our singer's garage.
What would you do with $50,000?
Invest it into road-worthy gear, advertisement, and outreach to play shows further than we could before.
