Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Life is my #1 inspiration for music. I've been through several situations from which I thought I wasn't going to make it back and I feel blessed to be alive. Mental health is also huge for me and a major part in my music. Music is quite literally Life for me. It is my therapy on the tougher days, my joy on the better days and a source of Love and human emotion, connection and understanding every single day of my life. I grew up around and immersed in music and I've been writing all my life.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be the most wonderful experience and opportunity for me. I feel it would really jumpstart my musical introduction to the public. I don't feel I've had TE opportunity to put myself out there yet for lack of promotional funding or resources or what have you.. being a single mom and just recently having made it out of a almost 20 year long war with my own mental health and addiction, life was pretty hectic and overwhelming for me most of the time.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest in my family and my music career. At the moment me and my children struggle mostly with a form of transportation. I'm trying to save up for a little car for us to get around easier and for me to be able to get to work as well. I am also in school and I would love to further my education. Id love to study sound engineering as well as astrophysics or something alike. I love nature as well and would love to learn more about all the uses of different plants, herbs, trees, roots, fungi
