Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’ve grown up around artists my entire life. My mother was a rapper. My grandfather was a singer and a drummer; it was inevitable. I’ve learned to grab pieces of artistry from anything that holds my attention.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’m a performer. I feel heard when I’m on stage; it’s my favorite part of being an artist. I feel like people understand me as a person when they see me perform. Gaining the support from an audience of this magnitude would only help catapult both my old and new work to more people.
What would you do with $50,000?
I couldn’t even begin to explain how this amount of money could change the trajectory of my life. I could create the visuals that I believe my music truly deserves.
