Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspirations are fused between soca music R&B and dancehall. Being that I am from Trinidad and Tobago I want to keep my culture a part of my music. I have been inspired by the likes of Patrice Roberts, Kes, Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Destra Garcia and Machel Montano to name a few.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would change my whole career. It would show my peers in the soca industry how far our genre can reach. It would also open up more opportunities for me to expand my musical journey and collaborations around the globe. Performing at the festival would be a major level up solidifying my standing in my music career
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest that 50,000 right back in to my music career. Being an independent artist is not for the faint of heart. It requires a lot of sacrifices and you have to invest in yourself which can be really hard if you simply do not have the financial means to do that. So I would take that 50,000 and strategize the best way to apply that to the elevation of my career
