Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspirations vary from the big legends of anglo music like The Beatles, Bowie, Elton John, Joni Mitchell, Carole King, Billy Joel, Kate Bush and many others. To the big idols of South America like Spinetta, Fito Páez, Los Tres, Los Jaivas, Airto Moreira, Charly García, Rita Lee, Sumo (Luca Prodan) and more! The mixture of these inspirations come together to bring you a new sound with hints of the past and the future.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would boost my career to a point in which I could visualize latin music's genres like rock, blues, bossa, boleros and ballads. Helping the globalization of these styles that haven't really thrived yet in the north hemisphere. This music has so much to offer and this festival so much to let it shine. Being able to perform in this event would mean a really big change towards the display of this culture's artistic customs.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I would create a collaborative project uniting Latin American artists across genres like rock, bossa, boleros, folklore. To showcase our cultural richness. I'd fund recordings, visuals, and live performances to highlight our shared heritage and innovation. My project it’s about giving Latin American artistry the global stage it deserves, opening hearts and ears to voices that have shaped generations but remain underrepresented worldwide.
