Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I am a Husband to my beautiful wife Kayla, Father to my artist Daughter Emily, Step Father to 2 wonderful boys who I am learning to know who they are, Charlie and Dennis. I used to sing to find my place in this world, now I sing for the love of music. I was going to stop singing in 2020 when my first wife passed away to cancer, I sang her our song at the foot of her bed before she left to be with the Lord. I since found True Love again, and have found that I now write and record because of them.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Sharing the stage with global icons (past performers include Beyoncé, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran) puts my name in front of new, diverse audiences. Being part of a socially conscious event elevates my music. It shows I'm not just about the music, but also about using my platform for meaningful causes. What would you do with $50,000?
Launch a Music Accelerator or Mentorship Program. "Think a 6-week bootcamp with studio time, songwriting sessions, and real-world advice from artists who've been there." Hire mentors, host workshops, provide stipends or gear. Invite local or indie artists to teach; it builds community. Create a Studio Access Fund.
