Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Daft Punk, Justice, Kerri Chandler, Larry Head, Disclosure to name a few. The music itself inspires me. I feel compelled to share stellar music experiences to people through DJ sets and live hardware sets. I want to feel the heat of a sweaty, energetic, vibrant dancefloor. I want to become the night, become the music, and read the crowd. What's important is to share what inspires and moves me- all in a way that imprints a night of life long remembrance onto people's psyche.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would help me reach my sound and music to a wider audience, and to help achieve my vision of curating dance floors with good vibes. It would really help kickstart my goal of sharing incredible musical experiences to all people everywhere.
What would you do with $50,000?
Use it to further my music career with promotion, travelling to more gigs, and hiring other creative talent. I'd love to start my own local party with a focus on soulful, garage, house music that uplifts people and imparts feeling of optimism, gratitude, and community in others. With this money I would be able to knock down financial barriers that only hinder me from achieving my vision.
