Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Our musical roots run deep in jazz and classic rock, shaped by playing trombone, sax, drums, bass, keys, guitar, and ukulele. Early influences include Chet Baker, Charles Mingus, Ray Charles, and Led Zeppelin. We grew up singing vocal jazz and vibing to CCR, The Beatles, and Elton John. Later, Daniel Caesar and Rex Orange County shaped our soul, while artists like Noah Kahan, Gregory Alan Isokav shape a lot of our writing now. We also love artists who play more blues since moving to Nashville
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
As Canadian artists pursuing a U.S. work visa for music, performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a huge milestone. It would give us the major performance credit, press exposure, and career momentum we need to qualify. We've moved to Nashville to chase this dream, and this stage would not only elevate our reach—it would be a critical step in building the international profile our visa requires.
What would you do with $50,000?
As recent college grads, $50,000 would be huge for us. We’ve written two albums but can’t afford to professionally record or release them. We also lack the equipment to record quality demos or play full live shows on our own. This funding would let us record, produce, and promote our music, invest in essential gear, grow our team, and tour across Canada and the U.S. It’s the support we need to turn potential into a real career.
