Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration comes from musical theatre. I fell in love with acting on stage as a child. I could become anyone I wanted. In my teenage years, I was crippled with depression. Metal and rock music had a message that could pull me away from some of my darkest thoughts. I believed I had a future worth fighting for. Now, I write music for everyone who needs to hear that their voice matters.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Currently, my band Replication has played over 20 different venues throughout California. We are excited to hit larger stages. My band members have been playing for 15 years in various bands. I want to be the band that sees them though to making a lifetime career out of their passions.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000 Replication would upgrade our music studio with a new PA. We would remaster two of our albums to have recordings that are professionally produced. Replication would release 5 new music videos for our fans. With a perfected sound, and interesting visual content, we would invest in promoting our band. We would upgrade our drummers kit. And lastly, we would get a band RV to take us on tour.
