Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Bill Laswell, Jah Wobble, and Nicky Skopelitis are major influences on the kind of music that I make in this project. The Cure and Simon Gallup are why I chose to play bass.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I am not a well known artist, so performing at the festival would get me exposure to a greater audience and help spread my cause of unity through music.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use the money to keep improving the quality of my music. To expand my library and immerse myself more into the traditional styles that I incorporate into my sound. I could possibly visit some of the countries where this folk music and instruments originated from to get a better understanding of the history of how they came about. I would also like to visit France since I've gotten a lot of support there.
