Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I take inspiration from so many things around me. Sometimes it is something that causes me to laugh or an experience that makes me sad. Other times it can be the joy on a little kid's face as he or she runs through a sprinkler on a hot summer day. The list goes on actually, but the one common denominator is that it is always something very innately "human" that inspires me to write.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Oh my goodness! I'm limited by how much I can write here, but needless to say, I could go on and on in regards to how positively impactful performing at the Global Citizen festival would be for my career. The exposure would easily be the biggest thing. I have so much music already released but do not have the finances or marketing strength to really get my sound out there. Performing at this Festival could help do that for me!
What would you do with $50,000?
Well, my main goal is easily getting the chance to perform at the Global Citizen Festival!! That is what is driving me in this competition. This is the sort of opportunity that money just can't buy. But, I'd be lying if I said the money sure as heck wouldn't be a nice bonus though!
