Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I have always been inspired by artists like Debussy, Mancini, Legrand, John Williams, the Beatles & Billy Joel. Strong melodies you can remember are the key to their and my success. Also, my new “Forever” Shigeru piano has inspired me greatly because of its astounding sound quality and flawless action which makes playing and composing the greatest joy of all. The piano invigorates my creativity immeasurably to where each and every day I delight in creating songs that inspire!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would impact my career greatly by being able to prove, on such a grand scale how transformative and captivating my music affects all ages and walks of life. The great thing about music is the fact that it has no language barrier and can be understood and felt by everyone, no matter where they come from or what their beliefs are. Universal appeal and universal acceptance has the ability to conquer all!
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest the money in spreading the word about my music to the world through recording new albums, become more visible through social media and continuing to transform people’s lives by the affect my music has on people. Listeners of my work report a sense of well being and a positive outlook on life, so if the money can bring happiness to millions of people, I’ve done my job.
