Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Stones and Alice! I wrote two book reports on him in 1972 and 1974 as an elementary school student, lol. My teacher's must have thought I was the "Devil Spawn". But I'm influenced by all kinds of rock and roll and really... music from around the world. I write a variety of music in different genres, just as all the great artists have.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would take me from obscurity to prominence and would be a thrill of a lifetime! I'm 61, but I feel 21 and I think younger audiences today should be hearing more music from our generation more because of our influences. There are many of us who still create great music and the world needs to hear it.
What would you do with $50,000?
Further my music career, enjoy some with my family and friends and also help people and animals.
