Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would have a huge impact on me, both personally and professionally. I’ve been dealing with a lot—one of the hardest parts has been not having a real social life, as I’ve dedicated almost all of my time and energy to creating music. If I were awarded $50,000, I would use it to stabilize my life so I can fully focus on my music career. First, I would pay off my bills and financial obligations that have been weighing heavily on me. Then, I would use the rest to relocate and find a more affordable place to live outside of California—somewhere I can have peace of mind, space to create, and the opportunity to build a sustainable future as an artist.
