Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration is heavily influenced by visual art, like movies and photography + design. A recent movie that was really inspiring was “ A complete uknown”. I also draw a lot of inspiration by real life scenarios of my own life as well as from friends and family. Being an introvert I’ve never felt like I was able to express myself enough (verbally), so music became that outlet for me along with visual design.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the global citizen festival would impact my career tremendously. My main audience is based in Albania. In the past 6 years I have really honed in on my craft and developed my sound as an artist and writing more in English. My music is strongly influenced by my home country and my experiences there, but it also has expanded taking influences from music here in the west. Connecting with a larger audience + meeting fellow artists would be an incredible opportunity for my career.
What would you do with $50,000?
First thing I would do with $50.000 is invest in better equipment for my home studio. Things like a new professional microphone, speakers, headphones etc. and soundproofing my studio would be top priority. Next thing would be planning to release an EP, with the money going towards professional mixing and mastering & helping towards music videos, a release party, outfits etc. With money like this I would be granted more time to invest in my craft and less time stuck in survival mode.
