Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I have a few inspirations who make me the artist who I am today. First of all Michael Jackson is my top music inspiration. He went through so much in his life yet still remained an inspiration. His musical influence on the world and myself has been a huge impact. When he passed it truly tore me up for weeks! My other inspiration is my father. He grew up with no parents and never graduated high school, but I got my singing voice from him. My dad did everything he could to raise me!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be beyond my wildest dreams. I believe it would give my music a chance to find the audience it’s yearning to find. I speak truth and relay raw emotions through my music and performances. I believe my presence on stage would impact people’s lives because I love to get personal with my audience.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would invest into my music career more than ever. I want to be able to make music and content without waiting because I don’t have the money. I have so many songs I want to share with people, but sometimes I have to wait because I don’t have the funds to market it properly or even get to the studio. I would probably also buy more items for my home studio because I am trying to get comfortable recording on my own.
