Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Music has always been in my blood, a gift I inherited from my father who was my first and greatest influence. His passion lit the fire in me, but while I was incarcerated, I lost him to suicide—a pain that changed my life forever. In that moment of loss, I made a promise to my mother: I would leave the streets behind and put everything into my music, as long as she stood by me. Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a dream come true and a major milestone in my independent music journey. It’s more than exposure—it’s a message to every artist from small towns that anything is possible when you stay consistent, keep God first, and never give up.
What would you do with $50,000?
I have a independent label, that consists of 22 artist. I would invest in a studio and our own headquarters to host events and showcases. While investing in the legal actions they need as a artist. Such as BMI, Copyrights, LLCs and etc.
