Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Green Day and Linkin Park are two of my biggest inspirations. They are two bands that really changed the landscape of music at the time. As a band, our inspirations are constantly evolving, as we continue to listen to all of the bands and artists that we can, to have a wide range of tastes. The main bands that we look up to are The Devil Wears Prada, Motionless in White, Spiritbox, Imminence, Silent Planet, and so many more!
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I think it’s fair to say that as a metal band, we aren’t typically the type of band that you’d pick to play something like this. However, playing a festival of this magnitude can bring so many new eyes to us as well as a genre of music that typically gets written off today. Playing a festival like this would easily solidify our place in the music world and allow us to rub shoulders with people all across the music industry. What would you do with $50,000?
I believe that we would use some of the money to record an album or fund some new music, including PR and marketing. We would also like to use some of the money to give back to our local scene. What that looks like, I’m not entirely sure but every musicians local scene is so important to the survival of music and we should take care of that. Every musician starts out playing locally in clubs and dive bars etc., and we need to make sure that the local scene can stay alive for future genera
