Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My uncle donald shirley. hes was an amazing pianist and he taught me how to feel my music. not just to play it but to really feel it.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I know my music is good. I know people struggle with what i write about. i have preformed for up to 300 people and it was amazing. i want more. i want to make it so i can provide for my wife and children. i want to retire my mom. i want to make music that matters.
What would you do with $50,000?
Honestly id finance it slowly, get a nice apartment w one more bedroom than we need so the kids can have a designated play area. id also invest into some home studio equipment. currently ive had to let myself be homeless so i can work and send money back to my wife for her and the kids. it would be nice to not sleep in my car so i can work for more money in a different state. we would finally be all together again.
