Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Music has always been more than just sound to me—it’s a language of emotion, a form of healing, and a source of strength. My greatest musical inspiration comes from artists who pour their soul into their work, unafraid to be vulnerable or bold. I’m especially inspired by artists like Lauryn Hill, whose lyrics are both poetic and powerful, blending soul, hip-hop, and truth in every line. Her music taught me that authenticity is everything. Performing at the Citizen Festival would be a life-changing experience—not just as an artist, but as a human being. It’s more than just a stage; it’s a global platform where music meets purpose, where voices rise not only to entertain but to inspire action. Being part of that movement would validate years of dedication, struggle, and growth. With $50,000, I would invest in turning my passion into a sustainable purpose. First, I would dedicate a portion to developing my music career—building a professional home studio, producing high-quality recordings, and funding visuals and marketing to share my art with a wider audience.
