Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My first concert was Destiny’s Child at age 9. I instantly fell in love with Beyoncé. Whitney Houston was a huge influence; I sang I Have Nothing at every family karaoke. My aunty Theresa always performed Tina Turner’s Proud Mary at gatherings, and Celine Dion played every morning at her house. Music was everywhere growing up and shaped my love for powerful voices and emotional storytelling.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
As an upcoming independent artist with 7 singles out and my debut EP dropping this summer, performing at Global Citizen Festival would mean everything. Getting to share my music and message with such a huge crowd would be a dream come true. It’s the kind of opportunity that could really push my career forward and help me connect with people on a whole new level.
What would you do with $50,000?
With $50,000, I’d go into the studio with live musicians to record my debut album the way I’ve always envisioned it—raw, real, and full of soul. After that, I’d plan a national or even world tour to bring the music directly to people and build real connections with fans. It would be a huge step toward turning my passion into a sustainable career.
