Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration comes from memory, movement, and emotion. I’m drawn to artists who tell the truth in ways that feel sensual and unexpected—people like Rosalía, James Blake, and Kelman Duran. But a lot of it also comes from the textures of life itself: the pulse of the city, Dominican rhythms I grew up with, late-night conversations, moments of stillness after chaos.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at Global Citizen Festival would be a huge moment—not just for visibility, but for alignment. My work lives at the intersection of art and advocacy, and being part of a platform that amplifies global justice while centering performance would be a powerful extension of what I already do. With $50,000, I’d invest directly into building sustainable creative infrastructure—not just for myself, but for the communities I represent.
