Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspiration would be female popstars from the 2000s era who have completely shifted the way people perceive women in music. Between Madonna, Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga, and so many others, these women have pushed the boundaries of pop music to its limits and have reinvented themselves time and time again in order to make the pop space what it is today.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Global Citizen is extremely important to me because I support the cause behind it and it happens to take place in my home city. This would mean everything to my career because it would be such an honor to perform alongside such legendary acts and get to connect with such a passionate and dedicated crowd, most of whom will have earned tickets through completing charitable tasks. To have my music heard by so many people would completely change my life ahead of releasing my debut album.
What would you do with $50,000?
I have been working on my debut album for the past 3 and 1/2 years. The album is a concept album and is very visual, so I have been trying to make a music video or visualizer for every single song ahead of its release. With $50,000, I would be able to put some money into creating more extravagant visuals, promote the album, and hopefully go on a tour to see all my amazing fans!
