Who or what is your musical inspiration?
We're inspired by classic rap legends like Ice Cube, Tupac, and Tek9 just to name a few. We see the current musical landscape and We're dissatisfied with the quality of music and the lack of competition. We strive to bring talent back to the rap game and make waves in the industry, changing the scene for the good and shunning industry plants.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would bring a whole lot of exposure to our little group and would give us a whole new avenue of opportunities so we could take our art to new heights, with millions of eyes witnessing this new change of pace and refreshing take on the genre we hope to bring.
What would you do with $50,000?
We'll take it and reinvest into our careers. We hope to form an LLC and recording studio, and grow this company large enough to the point that we have a chance to give industry giants a run for their money, giving independent artists a chance at making it without selling themselves our to an industry that clearly hates their humanity. We in The Saints hope to not just bring a new rap wave, but start a new Renaissance of art in America, bringing quality over quantity.
