Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Music that uplifts, unites, and speaks truth has always moved us. We are inspired by artists who use their voice to spark change and bring people together. That spirit of purpose and passion—yeah, that’s everything. Bob Marley embodied that beautifully. Now, with our new record deal with Heartland Records Nashville, we’re combining our voices and stories to carry that same energy forward.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be a dream come true- aligning our music with a mission that defines us. We recently joined paths after long indie careers, united by purpose: to uplift, unite, and speak truth. Samir, raised in D.C. with a global lens, sees music as a tool for change. Victoria shares that passion. These songs mark our roots as well as the start of our journey—our voices coming together for the first time over timeless covers- landing us a recent record deal.
What would you do with $50,000?
With a $50,000 award, we’d reinvest at least $40,000 back into the cause—supporting grassroots efforts, music outreach programs, and campaigns that amplify voices for change. The rest would help us continue creating meaningful music that inspires action and unity.
