Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’ve always been fond of Michael Jackson,and his musical capabilities. I think that he had a work ethic that was admirable. My sole inspiration comes from the character, of the person who raised me. I often think about her resilience and discipline which allowed her to become someone. Someone who got the job done. I am forever thankful for her and forever inspired to grow and make her proud. I do try to take in art especially if it’s compelling, when I find new music or new art it
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I’m not quite sure what would happen. I think that it help me get my face out there to the people. I think that my life would change dramatically. I think that it would unlock a new mode of creativity. I think I’d probably get addicted to that feeling of being on that stage and sharing what I’ve created. I think that it would help my career tremendously. I love music it’s always been a way to not only escape but a way to channel my thoughts of being.
What would you do with $50,000?
I’m not completely sure. I think that is one of those things that I couldn’t really tell you until I saw it in my bank account. This version of myself , like the person I am right now typing, I would help my family out with their rent I would pay a year for them then I’d invest the rest back into this career. I don’t know who I would be if I didn’t have my family or music so those are my two priorities.
