Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My early inspirations have been strong and talented women like Ann & Nancy Wilson, Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks, Chrissie Hynde, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt and Aretha Franklin. My inspiration now for writing is my life experiences, my desire to express myself, to lead with integrity a legacy for other women artists and all this with the intention that my music will connect, resonate, heal and bring joy.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Exposure on a broader scale like this will widen the net and reach more people to get my message to them.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would donate a portion of it to St. Judes Hospital for Childen, Make A Wish Foundation and Simon's Fund. The rest I would use for my next album and tour.
