Who or what is your musical inspiration?
In 2011, Skrillex was the spark that got me into producing — I’d never felt goosebumps like that before. But since then, it’s been electronic music as a whole that’s kept me going. The energy, the emotion, the technical side of it — there’s just nothing else like it. I’m inspired by the endless ways EDM can evolve and how it brings people together, no matter the genre.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be life-changing — not just for my career, but for me personally. I’ve been chasing a show like this for more than half my life. Coming from a small city where electronic music isn’t widely accepted or understood, I’ve spent years building my sound and pushing through the doubt. This would be my first real chance to share that work with the world — to show people what electronic music can be when it comes from a place
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use $50,000 to help my mom with a down payment on a home and invest the rest into building an electronic music movement in Boise. Through this brand, I’d work to spread awareness of electronic music in my community and start teaching others how to produce and create their own sound.
