Who or what is your musical inspiration?
I’ve been surrounded by music for as long as I can remember, it’s in my blood. I’m inspired by bold storytellers: Kate Bush, Grace Jones, Amy Winehouse, and Roger Waters. I grew up knowing music wasn’t just heard, it was felt.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
I haven’t really gotten a chance to showcase my music publicly on a stage yet I’ve just been putting out music for my own personal joy so I feel it would be life-changing to be able to sing in front of a crowd that big. My music mantra is, there has to be a reason to interrupt the silence…
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use that money to grow my music career and finally live out my dreams.
