Who or what is your musical inspiration?
Just my daily life and the struggles I’ve went through growing up in a low income household with a single parent who wasn’t always able to be the physically. Mom kept me fed but the streets and hip-hop raised me. I’ve been to dark places and I feel that I owe it to anyone else out there who’s going through the same struggles to be a voice for them and hopefully help them make it through the hard times like several artist before me have done for me and millions of others.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
As an artist from small town Louisiana with no real connections to the big music industry, with a passion for music and a dedication to succeed like mine this opportunity to get my name out to the world would really impact my ability to create me and be recognized for my art.
What would you do with $50,000?
I would immediately put it into my brand and my art. I would use this money to fund my Buisness as a Hip-Hop artist and produce and market my own content independently. I want to build a label to help other big voices from small towns be heard. I’m not just in this for the money, I’m in this for the music and my people. The ones at the bottom.
