Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My father played guitar when I was growing up, and even as a young child, I was fascinated by music. He passed on his passion, his instruments, and his vintage vinyl collection to me when he passed away. He raised me and my siblings on great music like America, The Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Beach Boys, YES, Tower of Power, and much more, all of which have shaped my musical inspirations. Along the way, I have also found my own inspirational artists.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would drastically elevate Secondhand Sun's career by providing global exposure and increasing visibility among a diverse, international audience. It would also enhance industry recognition, bolster our credibility, and offer the opportunity to engage in meaningful advocacy, resonating with socially conscious individuals in the industry.
What would you do with $50,000?
We would invest part of the money into proper gear, equipment, and studio time to perfect our craft and produce the best music possible. Next, we would create incredible merch by hiring local artists to design a unique line of products. Lastly, we would allocate a portion of that money to video content creation and production, ensuring we deliver captivating and professional content for our fans to enjoy. Any remaining funds would be saved or used for touring!
