Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My biggest musical inspirations are Lauryn Hill, James Blake, Notorious B.I.G., Frank Ocean, and Marvin Gaye.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at a festival like this would be a huge step forward for me. I've spent the past year taking vocal lessons, learning how to become a better singer and performer. This would be the ultimate stage to put into practice everything I've been learning. I'm also from New York City so I'd love to grace a stage that big in my hometown!
What would you do with $50,000?
I'd use that money to fund my next releases! I'm sitting on a bunch of music right now and it's some of my best work to date. The world deserves to hear it and in order for that to happen, there are things that need to be put in place.
