Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My inspiration comes from where I started—playing guitar in church and writing ballads in my room at 14. I had to convince my parents to let me take lessons, and proving I could do it lit a fire in me. Artists like Carla Morrison and Ed Maverick made me feel heard, and I wanted to do the same for others.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
It would allow me to share my music with a diverse, global audience and connect with industry professionals who can help amplify my voice. This platform celebrates cultural diversity and would provide the exposure needed to reach new fans and opportunities. Being part of the festival would not only elevate my artistry but also inspire others from similar backgrounds to pursue their musical dreams
What would you do with $50,000?
I would use part of the money to help my parents with their retirement accounts as they have helped me so much in my music journey. The rest of the money would allow me to quit my current job and focus on pursuing music
