Who will perform at the Global Citizen Festival, appear in Rolling Stone, and take home $50,000?
Who or what is your musical inspiration?
First my father singing and rehearsing his songs at home and with his Salsa Band from which I copy when I was a child. Later in life singers like Selena and Witney Houston were my greatest inspiration for the love songs I like to interpret so much. My choir teacher encouraged me to participate in local competitions, which later on turned into state competitions.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
This will give me the opportunity to showcase to the masses my singer and songwriter skills, it will be awesome to feel the impact my songs have on people. I want to perform my father’s songs because I believe he is an outstanding songwriter.
What would you do with $50,000?
Assist my father with the music project plans he has for the community; his idea is to bring together all genre new talent singers and musicians to performs his songs, he calls it Musa All Stars, one stage, one songwriter, dozen feelings, 10 or 20 voices.
