Who or what is your musical inspiration?
My musical inspirations come from how beautiful and hard life is. Knowing that my natural gifts can make people feel like someone gets them, keeps me going. I know people can resonate with my melodies, lyrics and voice. That is what inspires me to never give up. I know there are more people out there who need to hear my message.
How would performing at the Global Citizen Festival impact your career?
Performing at the Global Citizen Festival would be the greatest thing to happen to my career since being on American Idol in 2020. I need another gratifying moment. Another opportunity to connect and make an impact. I would be performing in my home state, the greatest city in the world and possibly the best place to play, Central Park. I can’t imagine it getting any better than that, but I know it does so this would be the breakthrough I’ve been dreaming of.
What would you do with $50,000?
Winning the grand prize would financially fuel the next step in my musical journey: touring across the United States. It has always been my dream to bring my music directly to the listener and see the beauty of the world around me.
